About Database
Tamotsu is a natural nootropic complex (scallop-derived plasmalogens + coenzyme Q10) designed to support brain function. Plasmalogens are a distinct class of phospholipids whose levels decline with aging and in neurodegenerative disorders. According to research data, plasmalogen supplementation improves cognitive function and reduces neuroinflammation. In a randomized, placebo-controlled trial conducted in young adults (Japan), a 4-week intake of plasmalogens (comparable to those used in Tamotsu) resulted in a statistically significant reduction in fatigue and irritability scores (as assessed by the POMS questionnaire) and improved attentional concentration compared with placebo. A trend toward a reduction in insomnia symptoms was also observed in the plasmalogen group, reflected by lower scores on the Athens Insomnia Scale. The authors conclude that orally administered plasmalogens are capable of alleviating negative emotional states and sleep disturbances while enhancing mental focus. Thus, Tamotsu demonstrates a scientifically supported chronoblocking potential: it supports mitochondrial function (via CoQ10), slows age-related neurocognitive decline, and provides a moderate improvement in sleep quality.
